    The upper house is the Senate and the lower house is the Assembly. The Nevada legislature is the third smallest bicameral legislature in the United States. It meets in the state capital, Carson City. The Nevada Senate consists of 21 members representing 19 districts. The .   There are 42 districts for the lower house of the Nevada Legislature, meaning that a single representative is elected from each district. The 42 districts for the lower house of the Nevada State Legislature are considered to have close to 60, individuals per district, with the average population for the districts of the upper house of the Nevada State Legislature likely being close to.

    Nevada's Legislature is a bicameral body made up of the member Assembly and the member Senate. The third smallest Legislature in the United States, the Nevada Legislature meets for a period of days every odd year. The period between Legislative sessions is called the Interim.   Nevada's voters approved a constitutional amendment in that specified term limits for a number of elected officials in Nevada, including members of the legislature. These provisions contain a lifetime twelve-year limit on service as an assembly member, and another twelve-year limit on service in the senate.
